Especially affected animals: Dog, Cat
Why it is dangerous
All parts of tulips and hyacinths can be harmful; the highest amount of toxin is in the bulbs. A small amount of leaf or flower usually causes mild nausea and vomiting, while eating the bulb can lead to longer-lasting digestive problems and lethargy. Large bulbs can also cause an intestinal blockage.
Possible signs

- Lethargy
What to do
Remove the plant and the bulbs, and note how much your pet ate. Call your veterinarian immediately and explain the situation. Do not try to make your pet vomit unless the veterinarian tells you to.
