This notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) to inform you about your personal data processed through our website.

Personal data processed

• Identity and contact information: full name, phone number, optional email address
• Request information: your pet's species, the content of your message; the day and time slot you prefer when requesting an appointment
• Cookie data: your language preference and cookie choices; Google Analytics measurement data if you give consent (see Cookie Policy)
• Transaction security data: an irreversibly summarized (hashed) version of your IP address, to prevent misuse

Method of collection

Your personal data is collected electronically, partly by automated means, through the contact and online appointment request forms on our website and through cookies.

Purposes of processing and legal grounds

• Responding to your message and handling appointment requests (KVKK Art. 5/2-c: being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract; Art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest)
• Ensuring the security of the website and preventing misuse (KVKK Art. 5/2-f: legitimate interest)
• Measuring visit statistics (only with your explicit consent, KVKK Art. 5/1)

Retention period

Contact and appointment form messages are retained, after they have been answered, for the retention period determined by the Clinic (default 365 days) and are automatically deleted at the end of that period.

Transfer

Your personal data is shared only for the purposes above and only to the extent necessary for those purposes, with the server service provider hosting the website and the email service provider used for email notifications; it is not transferred to any other third parties. If you consent to the use of Google Analytics, measurement data may be transferred to Google LLC, which is located abroad.

Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed and, if it has been processed, to request information about it
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose
• To know the third parties to whom your data is transferred, domestically or abroad
• To request correction of data that is incomplete or inaccurately processed
• To request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
• To request that correction and deletion operations be notified to the third parties to whom your data has been transferred
• To object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively by automated systems
• To request compensation for damages if you suffer harm due to unlawful processing of your data

Application

You can submit your applications to the address above in writing, or to zootopiaveteriner@gmail.com from the email address registered in our system. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest; however, if the process requires an additional cost, a fee may be charged according to the tariff set by the Personal Data Protection Board. If your application is rejected, if you find the response inadequate, or if no response is given within the time limit, you may file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Board.
